Resin Driveways in Warrington, Finished Properly
We lay resin bound driveways across Warrington and the WA postcodes. Stone mixed through the resin, trowelled out, permeable and no loose gravel in the hallway. It is a wearing surface, so it goes over a proper base, never straight onto old flags.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between resin bound and resin bonded?
Resin bound means the stone is mixed with the resin before it is laid, then trowelled out to a smooth, permeable finish with the stone locked in place. Resin bonded means the resin is spread and loose stone is scattered on top, which gives a rougher, gravel-like texture and is not permeable, as the water cannot pass through it. For driveways we almost always recommend resin bound.
Do I need planning permission for a resin driveway?
A resin bound surface is permeable, so water soaks through it rather than running off into the road, and that means it normally falls under permitted development even where you are covering more than five square metres of front garden. It only works if what is underneath it drains too, so the base has to be built for it. We will tell you what your ground can take before you commit to anything.
How long does a resin driveway last?
Laid over a sound base, a resin bound drive will typically give you 15 to 25 years. The base is the thing that decides it. Resin laid over a tired or failing surface will crack when the surface underneath moves, no matter how good the resin is, which is why we would rather quote for the base as well than lay over something that is on its way out.
